We are looking to fill an immediate position for a mass market missy fashion design intern. This is a part time PAID position.
Responsibilities include:
- Meeting with print and fabric vendors on a weekly basis.
- Select prints that match client markets and seasonal colorways.
- Recolor prints using Adobe Photoshop into vendor colorways.
- Shop competitor stores for new styles.
- Create new styles for our showroom.
- Create technical flats (hand drawn or Illustrator) to submit to factory.
Qualifications:
- Pursuing or have attained a degree in fashion design or equivalent apparel design work experience. Retail experience does not qualify.
- Experience with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Mastry of CAD and print recoloration.
- Creation of technical flats by hand or Illustrator for tech packs.
- Knowledge of basic HTML and Adobe Dreamweaver REQUIRED.
